Hi, I’m Terry

Since the beginning, it’s been about two things. The visuals, and the people.

After finishing my Masters in Visual Communications, I worked as a graphic designer, creating graphics for websites and marketing. And while it taught me what makes brands stand out, I wasn’t passionate about the work.

It was only when I was asked to take photos for a branding project that I found I loved being behind the camera.

I discovered my background in marketing gave my photos a unique edge. By diving deep into what made my client’s businesses different, I could develop their visual language, and take photos that resonated on a deeper level.

I went all in and started Terry Chen Photography, and over the last decade we’ve helped hundreds of professionals and businesses build visual identities and reach their audiences in new ways.
